TKA+D Architecture + Design Inc. is a young innovative architecture and interior design firm located in Vancouver, Canada. We are a medium-sized firm of approximately 40 people with a passion for high quality, innovative design while providing our clients with exceptional personal service.

Our work includes a broad range of Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Recreational, Residential, and Interiors projects for our municipal, indigenous and private sector clients.

We have recently secured a number of very exciting projects and are looking for talented team members as well as team leaders to bring on at the outset. We embrace sustainability in all our work and are currently working on LEED, Zero Carbon, RHFAC and Mass Timber projects.

BIM is central to our design and documentation workflow, and Revit has been our primary platform since the firm’s inception.

Job Description:

We are currently searching for Architects registered with the AIBC with a passion for creating buildings with high technical standards while realizing and maintaining a consistently high design quality.

While we are looking for people who are specifically suited to our immediate needs, we are also searching for individuals who exhibit an interest and potential for future leadership positions in our firm. Applicants should have proven experience in the design development, documentation, and management of projects from inception to completion.

The successful applicant will possess:

• Min 5 years of industry experience
• Excellent Design Skills
• Excellent technical skills in concrete, steel and/or wood construction documentation.
• Proven ability to execute design ideas into built form with technical excellence.
• Contract Administration Experience
• A desire for a long-term position with growth potential
• Experience in BIM documentation (preferably Revit)
• Must be registered with AIBC
