We have an immediate opportunity for an Intermediate-Senior Technologist to join our team! From $70,000 - $90,000+
Job Description:
What You’ll Do
As an Intermediate Technologist, you will:
- Contribute to the design, coordination, and documentation of a variety of projects across all phases;
- Produce detailed working drawings and specifications with a focus on clarity, constructability, and compliance;
- Apply your knowledge of building envelope systems, construction detailing, and building codes to support high-quality technical outcomes;
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution;
- Lead or support project teams based on your experience level;
- Participate in contract administration services, including site reviews, RFIs, and submittals;
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to improving technical standards, if in a senior capacity.
What you Bring
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Knowledge of applicable building codes/standards;
- Strong proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam;
- Proficiency in Sketchup, Lumion and/or Enscape.
Education & Experience:
- 7-15+ years of experience in an architectural office in Canada;
- Diploma or degree in Architectural and Building Technology (or equivalent);
- Registered with the AIBC (or eligible) an asset but not required;
- Institutional project experience (K-12 Schools, Post-Secondary, Healthcare).
Soft Skills
- Exceptional technical and communication skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high-quality standards;
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under tight deadlines.
