Yamamoto Architecture is actively seeking a full-time resourceful and dynamic Intermediate level Intern Architect to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a creative environment where your designs will contribute to the visual storytelling of our architectural projects. Starting Pay Range:

Job Description:
• Assist in all project phases from Schematic Design to Construction Administration
• Conduct research on building materials, systems, Zoning Bylaws, and Building Codes
• Prepare 3D models and renderings using SketchUp
• Assist in generating technical drawings for Rezoning, Design Development, and Building Permit phases
Qualifications:
• 3+ years minimum of post-graduate, in-office work experience with multi-family wood frame construction
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adept at task prioritization
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in Vectorworks or Revit
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Proficiency in Sketchup
• Must be registered with the AIBC or eligible to register with the AIBC
• Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
Salary Range:
• $60,000 to $78,000. Salary is dependant on education and level of relevant experience
