Job Description:

The Role:

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Technologist to join our energetic team. You will independently and proficiently produce construction documents for complex, high density residential and mixed-use projects. You will work collaboratively in a studio environment that values creativity and innovation.

  • Lead the construction documentation phase, including detailing and coordination.
  • Collaborate with tight-knit teams, where your voice will be heard.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities.
  • Contribute to a studio culture that promotes an innovative design approach.

About You:

  • You're a seasoned Senior Technologist with a deep understanding of construction detailing and documentation.
  • You bring 7+ years of local experience, with a focus on multi-family residential and mixed-use projects (Part 3 BCBC/VBBL).
  • You’re confident in leading the production of construction documents in teams of 2-5.
  • You have 5+ years working experience with Revit/BIM and have an excellent understanding of BIM workflows and coordination.
  • You’re comfortable leading coordination with Consultants, Clients, and Authorities, and representing the firm.
  • You possess strong communication, organization, and management skills.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and mentor junior staff.
  • You have a solid understanding of the BCBC/VBBL.
  • You have a proven track record of relevant experience.
  • You're legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • You're registered with the AIBC.
