Job Description:
The Role:
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join our energetic team. You will independently and proficiently produce construction documents for complex, high density residential and mixed-use projects. You will work collaboratively in a studio environment that values creativity and innovation and must be registered with the AIBC or eligible to register with the AIBC
- Lead the construction documentation phase, including detailing and coordination.
- Collaborate with tight-knit teams, where your voice will be heard.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities.
- Contribute to a studio culture that promotes an innovative design approach.
About You:
- You're a seasoned Architect or Senior Technologist with a deep understanding of construction detailing and documentation.
- You bring 7+ years of local experience, with a focus on multi-family residential and mixed-use projects (Part 3 BCBC/VBBL).
- You’re confident in leading the production of construction documents in teams of 2-5.
- You have 5+ years working experience with Revit/BIM and have an excellent understanding of BIM workflows and coordination.
- You’re comfortable leading coordination with Consultants, Clients, and Authorities, and representing the firm.
- You possess strong communication, organization, and management skills.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment and mentor junior staff.
- You have a solid understanding of the BCBC/VBBL.
- You have a proven track record of relevant experience.
- You're legally eligible to work in Canada.
