Working with Design Leads, Senior Project Managers and Production leadership, this role bridges design and technical delivery—helping translate design intent into coordinated, buildable and well-executed projects while managing the people, resources, schedule and internal project budget required to deliver the work successfully.

The role requires strong technical capability together with project ownership, sound judgment and initiative. The successful candidate will be comfortable anticipating project needs, directing and coordinating staff, monitoring project performance, resolving issues and moving work forward without requiring step-by-step direction.

Qualifications

  • Registered Architect with AIBC, or soon to be registered, with typically 8–10 years of relevant experience and minimum 5+ years working in Canada.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, detailing, building codes and bylaws, with experience developing and coordinating construction documentation across multiple disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, field reviews, deficiencies and project closeout.
  • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, Bluebeam and standard architectural documentation tools.
  • Strong project management, organizational, communication and consultant-coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Management

  • Lead the day-to-day coordination and delivery of assigned projects, managing schedules, priorities, internal staff and consultant teams to meet project objectives.
  • Manage internal project financial performance, aligning staffing and resources with project scope and budget, monitoring progress and identifying resource or budget concerns early.
  • Anticipate project needs and risks, resolve issues proactively, and maintain clear communication with project leadership, clients, consultants and stakeholders.

Technical Documentation & Quality

  • Lead the development of coordinated, technically sound and buildable construction documents that maintain design intent and integrate architectural, consultant and building systems.
  • Apply and reinforce Reify's technical, production and Quality Assurance standards, including interdisciplinary reviews and coordination with municipal and regulatory authorities.

Construction Administration

  • Support projects through construction, including RFIs, submittals and shop drawings, field reviews, deficiencies, changes and project closeout.
  • Apply sound technical judgment to resolve construction issues while maintaining alignment with the contract documents, design intent and project objectives.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Direct and coordinate project staff, providing clear expectations, technical guidance and appropriate review of their work.
  • Mentor developing staff, share knowledge and contribute to a collaborative environment that encourages initiative, accountability and continuous learning.
