Job Description:
This is a senior position for an experienced Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 10 years of local experience. This role is focused on developing the DP drawing set into BP construction documents and resolving complex details and code issues. Required qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of construction details and methods
- Technical proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Blue Beam
- Strong understanding of BC Building Code, VBBL and NBC
- Understanding of Green building design, sustainability, LEED and Passive-House
- Working knowledge of construction
- Focused, passionate and a team player
- Strong communication skills
- Must be registered with the AIBC
