Job Category:
Architect
Region:
Lower Mainland
Organization Name:
Marianne Amodio and Harley Grusko Architects Inc.
Organization Description:
Marianne Amodio and Harley Grusko Architects Inc. is a respected practice with a proven portfolio and a well-earned reputation for thoughtful and innovative architecture. We intentionally buck norms. We believe in socially-motivated design that is bold, articulate, aspirational and decidedly anti-luxury. We create non-formulaic based architecture that is uniquely responsive to its site, clients, users and programs, and we seek opportunities for innovation in every aspect of our work. Our environment is collaborative; where design occurs at all stages of the project.
The practice spans multi-family residential, commercial and mixed-use, heritage retention, and cultural projects, with a bespoke design process grounding each commission in its specific context, client, and community. Once described by a client as having the ability to "magically transform ordinary spaces and humble materials into places of poetic beauty," we believe that great Architecture emerges from creative thinking within tight constraints. This conviction shapes the firm's design approach, and has earned MA+HG multiple design awards and, most recently, Western Living's Architects of the Year. We’d love to show you what’s new.
We offer a competitive salary, Extended Health Benefits package, Annual bonus, a Continuing Education allowance, and succession planning for the right candidate. This is a work-from-studio position; our studio is located in the heart of Strathcona. We are a friendly and casual studio: creative, collaborative and sometimes frenetic. We love dogs.
