Job Description:
Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience::
• A degree or diploma in architectural or building technology from an accredited institution.
• 5-10 years of experience working In North American Architectural Firm.
• Strong understanding of building technology with a thorough understanding of local construction system, construction detailing, working drawings and contract administration including issuing site instruction, field review coordination with contractor, consultant and municipal Staff.
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of municipal approvals processes.
• Take an active role in the creation of design concepts or client relations through the design process and consultant coordination through project development under the supervision of the principal and senior designers.
• Knowledge of the BC Building Code Part 3 and ASHRAE 90.1
• Experience in the detailing and construction administration of low-rise to high-rise multi-family and mixed-use projects will be a strong asset.
• Must have proven ability for advance for skills in Revit.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketch-up and 3D modelling.
