Intern Architect – Human Studio Architecture and Urban Design Ltd.

Job Category:

Intern Architect

Region:

Lower Mainland

Organization Name:

Human Studio Architecture and Urban Design Ltd.

Organization Description:

At Human Studio, relationships are at the heart of what we do. Our projects are about bringing people together — creating spaces that spark social connection while helping communities adapt to the realities of climate change.

We like to push boundaries, experimenting with design and construction to find better ways of doing things. We’re building a culture that values the unique strengths of everyone on our team.

Our work ranges from homes and mixed-use projects to cultural centers, institutions, and urban design. Founded in 2017, we’re based in Mt. Pleasant. Our office vibe is relaxed and collaborative — lots of conversations, audible phone calls, and time spent staying connected.

Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for someone who believes design can make people’s lives richer and more connected, who sees tackling climate change as part of every decision we make in the building industry, and who loves being involved in great design from the first sketch through to the final construction details.

What you might be looking for:

You’re looking for a place where work feels inspiring and connected. You’d love to join a young firm where your voice matters — where you can help shape both the culture and the way we work together. You’re excited to dive into meaningful projects, and you care about how architecture can strengthen friendships, neighborhoods, and communities. You like working with people in an office, overhearing their phone calls and conversations and learning by osmosis.
