Starting Pay Range:

From $85,000 - $105,000

Job Description:

Qualifications:
– Minimum 8 years of experience;
– Proficient in VectorWorks or comparable 3D BIM program;
– Passive House and/or LEED® certifications are an asset;
– Must have work experience in British Columbia;
– Must reside in Greater Vancouver, BC;
– Must have working status in Canada;
– Have local experience managing projects through the rezoning process;
– Expert knowledge of producing drawing sets for permitting, tender, construction documentation;
– Expert knowledge of coordinating consultant drawings and specifications;
– Expert knowledge of CCDC2 contract and the tender process;
– Proven ability to communicate well with and coordinate the work of consultant team and contractor;
– Proven knowledge of construction administration of a project under a CCDC2 contract;
– Must be a person who has a good work ethic, who leads by example with excellent problem solving, organization and time management skills;
– Must be able to work well under high pressure situations to meet project deadlines and changing workloads;
– Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English);
– Expert level knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code and local zoning by-laws;
– Expert level knowledge in building detailing;
– Proficiency in VectorWorks (or comparable 3D BIM program) & Adobe Design Suites;
– Must be registered with the AIBC or eligible to register with the AIBC.

Compensation:
– Salary Range: $85,000 to $105,000 depending on experience;
– Extended Health Benefits (health, vision, dental, drug);
